FOND Bone Broth is a small business that cares deeply about providing people with nourishing foods such as bone broth and beef tallow. They are committed to sourcing their ingredients from regenerative farms in the USA. Not does this make their products healthier, but excellent for the environment, too.
FOND's founder, Alyssa Seeland, went through a chronic illness journey where she discovered the importance of nutrient dense foods. Bone broth played a huge part in her healing, and she later created FOND in efforts to provide people access to better quality broth (never sacrificing on ingredients).

I've had the pleasure of meeting with Alyssa and several other FOND team members, and can attest that they truly are passionate about helping people improve their health.
FOND is hands down my favorite pre-packaged bone broth option—both in terms of taste and quality. I've been drinking it for years now and absolutely love it!
While I actually enjoy making homemade bone broth, I almost always have FOND bone broth on hand for when I don't have time to make my own. To be honest, it tastes way better than anything I've made myself—they know what they're doing.
FOND Bone Broth Review
I first discovered FOND while traveling. We visited a local health food store looking for things that could support my recovery from a sinus infection. I saw some FOND bone broth on the shelf, and was intrigued by the glass jars, as I'd mostly just seen broth sold in plastic cardboard boxes. After taking a look at the ingredients, I knew I had to give it a try!
Not only was I impressed with the ingredient list and glass mason jars, but the taste was amazing! I also noticed that when you put the FOND broth jars in the fridge, the broth typically "gels" over which shows they have lots of collagen in them. To give you an idea of the difference in protein between FOND & other brands:
Whole foods organic bone broth
Protein: 3.5g (14 oz)
Protein: 16g (14 oz)

FOND has more than 4x the amount of protein than Whole Foods brand organic beef bone broth. This shows that FOND doesn't greatly water down their broth like most other brands do—they make it nice and gelatinous as it's intended to be!
They have so many flavors of both chicken and beef bone broth and I've enjoyed everything I've tried. These are some of my favorites:
Lemon & garlic chicken broth
Tomato & thyme beef broth
Ginger & cayenne beef broth (this one has a bit of a spicy kick)
Personally I love starting my day off drinking bone broth on an empty stomach while getting in some morning sunlight. I often make my own broth, but like to use FOND during busier seasons of life or for a special treat.
To drink the broth, all you have to do is heat it up on the stovetop, pour it into a mug, and enjoy! You can also use FOND broth in other recipes to enhance the flavor and nutrient profile of your dishes. For example, you could sneak it in rice or mac & cheese for more picky eaters.
If you're looking for completely unflavored packaged bone broth, FOND is one of the only companies I've found to offer it—they have both pure and unflavored chicken and beef bone broth (the only ingredients are bones, sea salt, and water). Some people on strict diets such as the carnivore diet prefer to have unflavored broth.
FOND's bone broth truly is the best I've found when it comes to pre-packaged, store bought bone broth—it's just as good as the homemade stuff in terms of ingredients and even better in terms of taste! I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for nutrient dense broth and don't have time (or want) to make your own!
FOND Beef Tallow & Lard Review
FOND recently started offering 100% grass-fed beef tallow and pasture-raised lard. These nourishing, real fats can easily replace inflammatory oils in most recipes. Something unique about FOND is that they offer tallow and lard infused with other flavors.
Currently they have:
Chili & Garlic Beef Tallow
Tumeric & Black Pepper Beef Tallow
Rosemary & Pink Peppercorn Beef Tallow
Unflavored Beef Tallow
Cinnamon & Vanilla Lard
Unflavored Lard
My favorite flavor is the chili & garlic beef tallow! We use this to made homemade corn tortillas and roasted tallow potatoes—the infused flavors makes them taste amazing. FOND's website has lots of great recipes if you're looking for cooking inspiration.

What are the health benefits of drinking bone broth?
Bone broth is often referred to as "liquid gold" because of it's many healing properties. It's rich in collagen, gelatin, nourishing protein, essential minerals, and amino acids.
Here are some of the many health benefits of regularly drinking bone broth:
Improved gut, joint, skin & hair health
Reduced inflammation
Enhanced immune function
Supports metabolism & weight management
Improved sleep & brain function
Can I use FOND bone broth in recipes?
Yes, you can absolutely use FOND broth in recipes. This will not only add nutrients to your food, but such a nice layer of flavor. Personally, I've used FOND bone broth to make stews, soups, rice, and even hot chocolate. Check out their recipe section on their website for lots of great inspiration!
How long does FOND Bone Broth last? Is it shelf stable?
When unopened, FOND bone broth is shelf stable and will last for 2+ years at room temperature. Once opened, keep it refrigerated and use within 5-7 days.
Are there any "cons" to ordering from FOND Bone Broth?
Truthfully, the only "con" to FOND products is the cost—they are expensive, there's no doubt about it. But personally I believe their prices are very fair given the quality of ingredients used. Remember, most bone broth brands you find at the grocery store very watered down the broth making them have much less protein and collagen.
Don't sweat it if you're not able to afford their products. Making your own bone broth is lots of fun and will save you money. But if you're looking for convenience and quality in store-bought bone broth, FOND really is the best option out there!
Can you find FOND Bone Broth products in retailers?
Yes, you can find FOND Bone Broth in many retailers across the USA, many of which are health food grocery stores. Their website has a store locator.
In Conclusion
I'd highly recommend FOND Bone Broth products to anyone that cares deeply about the sourcing and ingredients of their food, but may not have the extra time on hand to make their own broth. FOND bone broth is the real deal. It's nourishing, nutrient dense, and it tastes great.
Drinking bone broth has been very supportive of my own chronic illness healing journey, and I know many others have had the same experience!
